SVDP Community Garden Looking for Volunteers
The Society’s Community Garden in Hollidaysburg is in need of volunteers. The Garden is looking for people to weed, water, plant, pick, deliver the crops, run garden equipment, and many other volunteer opportunities.
Work days and times are Monday and Wednesday, 5:00 pm until sundown; and Saturday 8:00 am until noon.
If interested in helping out, contact Jim Yeager [email]. The Gardens provide thousands of pounds of fresh produce for area kitchens and pantries.

With a larger store the State College Thrift Store needs volunteers more than ever. For information on volunteering go to their website at stvincentstatecollege.org.

Store hours are Mon-Fri 9:00am – 5:00pm, Sat 9:00am – 1:00pm
