Mary's Place Child Care Center

Is Mary's Place State licensed?
Mary's Place  State is licensed and regulated by the Department of Public Welfare. Regulations books are available upon request.

Does the staff have child abuse and criminal history clearances?
Everyone who is involved in directly working with children has clearances. This is required by the state regulations.

Are the teachers certified?
Both teachers as well as other staff members are certified by the state of Pennsylvania to teach early childhood education. The rest of the staff has had other training in early childhood education.

Does Mary's Place have drop off, evening or weekend care?
We do not currently offer these services, however, if we feel there is a need in the community for these types of services, we may expand our hours in the future.

Is free day care offered at Mary's Place?
Our services are not provided for free. There is the opportunity, for those who qualify, for free or subsidized care through the County Assistance Office (814.533.2419) or through the Child Care Information Services of Cambria County (800.494.9292).

What is the fee schedule for Mary's Place?
